Work Experience

2019 — Now

Remote & San Francisco Bay Area, CA

I run Forge, a principal-led product design and design systems studio of designers with in-house tech experience.

As of Q3 2026, we've delivered $10M across 70+ clients, including Coinbase, Roblox, Cruise, Instacart, Robinhood, Affirm, Salesforce, AWS, Handshake, Guideline, Airtable, Grammarly, Peregrine, Jack in the Box, Samsung TV Plus, EarnIn, and more with no sales team or ad spend, just 99.9% word-of-mouth.

BUILDING AND LEADING THE STUDIO

  • Co-founded Forge in 2019 and grew it to 28 people and $2M+ revenue in three years

  • Hired and led 80+ Product Designers, UX Researchers, Content Strategists, Brand Designers, Producers, and Engineers across full-time and contract

  • Scaled teams up to 45–50 active contributors at peak, flexing to match demand across market cycles

  • Took sole ownership in 2022 and now run the studio lean by design

REBUILT TO BE AI-NATIVE
It now runs as a solo-principal studio on an architecture I built myself, delivering at a level that used to take a team of FTEs.

  • A four-layer operating system (prompt, context, harness, loop) that keeps every agent run safe and improve on the last, with quality verdicts fed back automatically

  • My design judgment encoded into a binding spec (tokens, motion, interaction vocabulary, taste rules) that every build inherits, so craft is enforced, not re-argued

  • A library of skills and SOPs that run the practice: engagement setup, forced divergence, red-teaming, automated design QA that grades work before a human sees it

  • ~15 live automations across finance, ops, and reporting so overhead runs itself

  • Thesis: a design system shouldn't just enforce rules, it should judge output and know when to follow, bend, or evolve them. Built for agents and humans alike.

SERVICES

  • Consumer and enterprise UX

  • UX re-architecting for scale

  • AI-first multi-brand design systems and component libraries

  • 0-to-1 platform strategy and MVP design

  • Consumer-grade UX for complex enterprise and data tools

2023

The Forge team created a powerful toolkit for creating beautiful and user-friendly applications on the EigenLayer platform. With the increasing popularity of EigenLayer and its role in revolutionizing Ethereum, there was a need for cohesive and intuitive user experiences across the ecosystem.

This design system provides a comprehensive set of design guidelines, components, and resources that empower developers and designers to build consistent interfaces that align with EigenLayer’s brand standards.

2023

Supported the rollout of an upcoming rebrand through a platform-agnostic multi-brand design system that created a new unified, flexible, and scalable baseline user experience that could unify their native apps, and adapt to their current and future needs, and support the launch of a new product channel going zero-to-one on the MVP of their first responsive web product.

Role: Owner (Product Manager, UX designer)

Auditing of all public metrics across all Facebook family platforms; identification of redundant or confusing metrics (either due to inconsistent naming conventions or lack of clarity of how the metric is calculated); company-wide coordination with content strategy, product management, design, and engineering to establish more scalable and clear metric naming, descriptions, and help documentation to help reduce confusion of what a metric is, how it is calculated, and how it is often used in conjunction with other metrics to derive particular insights; and the design of contextual in-product help and education UI components and interactions.

2016

Supported the launch of reactions on Facebook through PMing and product design of reaction measurement in Facebook Ads, Page Manager, Page Insights, and more.
